Bud Cope

April 15, 1943 - July 10, 2014

Bud gently passed at home with family at his side. He was born in Coquitlam then lived in Port Coquitlam and Maple Ridge prior to retiring in Fauquier, BC. He made many great friends everywhere he lived, worked and visited including many in New Zealand and Australia.
He leaves behind his wife Roberta and two awesome children, Brenda (Alex McKenzie) of New Zealand , Bryan (Anita) of Vernon and was the proud Papa of much loved Taylor, Hayden, Kendra and Connor. Also missed by his sister Beth (Lorne Caldwell)  in-laws Morlene Booth from Cranbrook, Craig and Fran Booth of Victoria, Ian and Kathy Booth of Victoria and Karin and Keith Carson from Falkland.
He was very involved and proud of his children`s and grandchildren`s sporting activities and achievements. He was  an active volunteer for the Fauquier Volunteer Fire Brigade and enjoyed golfing with friends and the social life involved. His door and his beer fridge were always open for his many friends wherever he lived and will  be remembered for his unique sense of humour and in particular his great laugh. He was fortunate to travel to many countries and on one journey through BC with Roberta they discovered the beauty of the Kootenays and settled in Fauquier. Donations in his memory to CKNW Orphan's fund or Variety Club or charity of your choice. The family thanks everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.

From: Jan & Don
Relation: Family

It has been a couple of weeks since Bud’s passing and as we have thought about it, we have many memories that we will cherish. Times that really stand out were the Christmas dinners and the visits to watch football/hockey and movies on the big screen….before everyone had a big screen.
Robbie, Brenda, and Bryan, as time passes, we know that all your memories will be good ones.
Jan & Don
