It is with great sadness that we have loss Ernie. He was a very caring, compassionate , with a zest for life, always stopping to talk to you. Ernie had a great sense of humor. Through his lengthy illness Ernie still put on a brave face and have a story to tell. His greatest love was his wife Pat, daughter and son and grandchildren . You are the greatest Hero we will ever know. Love and miss you dearly. Love Bernie and Garry Krawchuk , The Pas, Manitoba . Claire and June Rochon of Timmins, Ontario .

For Pat

Let go, let go, the pain is gone.
The road was rocky and so long.
He did his best, and so did you.
He made it far, because of you.
Within your heart, he’ll always be,
And in your fondest memories.
A man so good and also strong,
He fought so hard and fought so long.
While your tears flow as you cry,
Think of that peaceful summer sky.
The day he left, the sky so clear,
He’s now in peace, so have no fear.
Let go, let go, but hold the love,
And know he’s waiting, up above.
