Born August 23, 1926 in Kimberly B.C. to Ernest Cecil & Dorothy Frances Roberts, and 12 siblings. Ernie and his family relocated to West Arrow Park when Ernie was 2 and he has remained in the Arrow Lakes since. Ollie entered his life in 1947, and on April 5th, 1948 were married. Together they raised 5 children, Larry (Bette), Ron (Kelly), Marvin (Cathie), Jan (Don), Gord (Tracey). Their children have gifted them with 17 grandchildren and 22 great grands.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers Fred and Dick, 3 sisters Phillis, Alice and Mary, his son Gord, grandsons Shane and Alan, and 1 great grandaughter Alysha.
Ernie is survived by brothers Alf and Norm, sisters Fran, Isobel, Eleanor, Edith and Violet, and numerous 3rd and 4th generations, as well as many friends.
