Tribute

On January 20 1928 John and Josephine Klein welcomed Eugene Freidrich into their family, a baby brother for Hedy and Hugo.

Growing upon the farm in the Edgewood valley he enjoyed hunting and trapping with Hugo and his dad. He worked with a bridge building crew for many yrs and his final working yrs were completed with the hwys dept. which he retired from in 1989.
He is survived by his sister Hedy Atkinson from North Vancouver and numerous nephews and nieces

He will always be remembered for:

– His avid passion for the game of golf

– The uncle who took them fishing with a box of cookies for lunch

– His books were his treasures and his knowledge ever flowing

– His incredible collection of National Geographic magazines

– Crib became his game of choice with his friends at the Legion

– The stories he would tell of him and Ed

– His meticulous ways and thoughts

– He always enjoyed a good beer

– He had a mind as sharp as a tack

– Whiskey and Vermouth were his delight
