July 8, 1941 - March 20, 2011


With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pat Cameron on March 20, 2011 at the age of 69. She was born on July 8, 1941 and resided in Carol”s Landing during her youth. In November of 1959 she married Stan Cameron. She worked in the school system as a kindergarten teacher and teacher”s aid from 1974 to 2003. After retirement Pat continued to volunteer at the Burton School. She was involved in the making of the history book ”Whistle Stops Along the Columbia River Narrows” and active with ”The Friends of Old Arrow Park”. She is survived by her husband Stan, daughter”s Debbie Allard (Ric) & Kathy Bilinski (Russ), son Alan Cameron (Shannon), 5 grandchildren Brad Allard, Keith Allard, Jacquelyn Allard (Steve), Lorne Bilinski (Tory) & Laird Bilinski (Diane), and 1 great grandchild Cheyenne.

Memorial service is to be held on Saturday at 2pm at the Burton Community Hall.

Uncle Stan: I know this is a very hard time for you and all of the kids and I thought of you so much over the last year.
I know Pat fought a courageous fight !!!
She is now blessed I am sure!!! with all who went before her ..Having a wonderful time up there where ever that is!!!
Dad told me he knows there is an after life because of a very special event he had as a kid. Your heart is heavy and will be for a long long time. She will want you to smile !! enjoy the kids and grandkids but have no fear she is waiting for you when it is your turn !! NOT YET !!! We have a very strong family and Pat was such very wonderful extention of this great family. She will be with you in very special ways daily. “You just wait and see.” Love you lots Big hug Penny ……..I am thinking of all of you.
