Stanley Roy Cameron

June 26, 1938 - November 25, 2013

Tribute

Stan was the 9th child of Herb & Maggie Cameron, born on June 26, 1923 in Coronation Alberta. Stan came to Arrow Park with his parents in the spring of 1947. I 1959 he married Patricia (Pat) Figner, with their first child Debbie arriving in the 1960. In 1962 Kathy was born and in 1969 Alan was born to complete their family.

When the lake was flooded they moved to the current Burton homestead. Stan worked in the forest industry for most of his life and was a pivotal part of Bill Browns sawmill for many years. In 1989 Stan was put into early retirement due to a logging accident and became well known as the community small motor mechanic. In retirement Stan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with his loving wife Pat who sadly passed away in 2011.
Stan will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
